Analytical Chemistryis a peer-reviewed research journal that is devoted to the dissemination of new and original knowledge in all branches of analytical chemistry. Fundamental articles may address the general principles of chemical measurement science and need not directly address existing or potential analytical methodology. On December 3, 2015, Prof. Dianping Tang was appointed as the Editorial Advisory Board of Analytical Chemistry (ACS) by Editor-in-Chief, Prof. Jonathan Sweedle.
Dianping Tang, born in 1972, is a full professor of Analytical Chemistry at Fuzhou University,China. He received the diploma degree in biochemistry from Sichuan Three Gorges University of China in 1986, and PhD from the Southwest University of China in 2008.
His research interests mainly include clinical/Environmental immunoassays, biological and chemical microsensors, synthesis and application of advanced functional nanomaterials, fabrication of microfluidic devices. His current projects focus on two areas: (i) synthesis of advanced functional nanomaterials and application in biological and chemical microsensors, (ii) design and fabrication of a new family of immunoassays based on micro- and nanofluidic devices. The detection methods mainly consist of electrochemistry, surface plasma resonance (SPR), quartz crystal microbalance (QCM) techniques and immunoaffinity chromatography.
Prof. Tang received the Alexander von Humboldt Fellowship in 2008, and worked at Technische Universitat Munchen,Germany, from 2008 to 2009. It is worth mentioning that he was selected as the 100 Most Influential People in the Analytical Scientist in 2013. He is currently a member of the editorial board of “Analytical Chemistry”, “Scientific Reports” and “Microchimica Acta”. Up to now, more than 100 papers under his authorship have been published in reviewed international scientific journals.
