Dr. Yingfu Li is the Professor in Department of Biochemistry and Biomedical Sciences, McMaster University, and the Joint Member in Department of chemistry and Chemical Biology and Canada Research Chair Chemical Biology of Nucleic Acids. His research focuses on nucleic acids structure and fuction, in vitro evolution, catalytic DNA, catalytic RNA, DNA and RNA aptamers, riboswitches, non-coding RNA, bacterial toxins, enzymology, nucleic acid engineering, molecular diagostics, biosensor, organic synthesis, high-through, putscreening, nanoparticles, DNA nanotechnology and spectroscopy.
